• From our engineering teams' experience: The SAC4M-36UHS/I is a heavy and powerful unit that handles high refrigerant volumes. Because four separate line sets (typically 1/4" liquid and 3/8" or 1/2" gas pipes) run back to this single block, precise planning of pipe lengths, elevation drops, and oil traps is critical to prevent oil starvation in the compressor.

• We mount this unit on heavy-duty, reinforced floor stands or reinforced wall brackets with industrial-grade rubber vibration-damping mounts to completely isolate compressor resonance from the building's structural walls.

Comparison with the Previous SAC4M-28UHS/I Model

While both are 4-port units from SENSEI's multi-split lineup, the SAC4M-36UHS/I offers a major step up in raw capacity over the SAC4M-28UHS/I:

• Performance Boost: Delivering 36,000 BTU (10.5 kW) compared to the 28,000 BTU (8.2 kW) of the 28-model, this unit is engineered for larger spaces (up to 110 m² vs 90 m²).

• Simultaneous Load Capacity: When running all 4 indoor units at the same time, the SAC4M-36UHS/I provides a much higher thermal reserve. For example, it can comfortably run multiple 12,000 BTU units at peak capacity without bottlenecking the system, whereas the 28-model would have to throttle capacity across the ports.

• Physical Footprint: Due to its larger heat exchanger and more powerful compressor, the 36-model has a heavier chassis and requires more open space for optimal airflow than the more compact SAC4M-28UHS/I.
