BOS-G Battery Control Unit — High voltage battery cluster control box

Deye HVB750V/100A-EU is a battery management system (BMS) intended to work with high-voltage LiFePO4 batteries BOS-GM5.1. It acts as the key link between the battery modules and the hybrid inverter, ensuring stable, safe and efficient operation of the entire energy storage system.

The BMS continuously monitors the main battery parameters — the voltage, current and temperature of every cell. The intelligent balancing function equalises the charge and discharge of the cells, which extends the battery service life and increases its efficiency.

The controller supports the connection of up to 8 battery modules in a single system, which makes it possible to scale the capacity and increase the backup runtime. Thanks to this, the solution is suitable for both residential and commercial energy storage systems.

The system has a full set of protections, including:

• against overcharge and deep discharge
• against overvoltage and overcurrent
• against short circuit
• against overheating and critically low temperatures
• monitoring and balancing of every cell

Control and data transfer are handled via a bus system, which makes it possible to track the battery status precisely and optimise its operation in real time. Power supply from both an internal and an external source is provided.
